Alex Blumberg is CEO and co-founder of the podcast network Gimlet Media which recently sold to Spotify. He uniquely introduces all the podcast episodes for StartUp recording a sneak peek of the experiences he goes through while running the company – the good and the bad.
Thereafter, Lisa takes over the show filled with hard-hitting chronicles around what it’s really like to start (duh) a business. StartUp is a serialized documentary-style podcast about entrepreneurial life, and it’s notably the pioneer hit show for start-up entrepreneurs.
In its maiden season, Alex was the original host. He would document Gimlet’s early days warts-and-all from idea creation, how he met his co-founder, the many failed pitches to investors, difficult conversations, to how he eventually got the funding to run the company.
He is also great at candid storytelling with audio clips and narration in equal measure. It comes highly recommended.

If there is one person who knows how to connect with the public, it is motivational speaker, author, serial entrepreneur and owner of VaynerMedia, Gary Vaynerchuk. He leverages his high intensity and animated personality to deliver marketing and business gems to his audience.
He also invites other guests to respond to digital marketing, social media and entrepreneurial questions from his listeners. The Podcast is an extension of his also popular show on YouTube called DailyVee.
4. She Did It Her Way
